Top Ten Reasons why Guys should Grow Beards (or goatees or heck, at least a mustache!)

1) It's one of the few remaining things that only guys can do. Women vote, wear pants, and fight in Iraq. They're catching up to men in heart-attack statistics, and might catch up. But they'll never be able to grow a beard.

2) Beards keep your face warm. During winter this is a real plus.

3) According to my dermatologist, Beards make excellant sunscreen. It's hard to get sunburned cheeks if you have a beard

4) The morning ritual of shaving is much shorter and doesn't even require a mirror if you have a beard

5) Stroking your beard gives you the appearance of deep contemplation, even if all you're doing is deciding who's more attractive, blondes or brunettes (brunettes).

6) Beards give you many more appearance options. Short, close cropped beard? Long, "ancient father" beard? With a mustache? Without a mustache? Goatee? Goatee without a mustache? Neard (neck beard)?
